Cedric Thornton was a good 3-4 defensive end for the Eagles over the past few seasons, but he became a scheme change casualty as Philadelphia shifted to 4-3 alignment this year under new defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz. Thornton understandably tested the free agent market and decided to stay in the NFC East by signing with the Dallas Cowboys. Speaking with reporters during Cowboys minicamp, Thornton explained one interesting difference between Dallas and Philadelphia.
"A lot more aggressiveness, a lot more impact in walkthroughs, and they expect us to be in better condition than we were in Philadelphia," said Thornton via Jon Machota.
